When a young, ambitious professional approached us with a passion for deep blue and a vision for confident living, we knew this wouldn't be a safe, neutral space. His enthusiasm became our inspiration—rich blue tones flow through the apartment as the defining accent, but we balanced boldness with warmth. Active areas like the entryway corridor make a striking statement, while living and sleeping zones embrace calmer textures to create comfort you can settle into for the long haul. The open studio layout uses lighting and material shifts rather than walls to define each zone—oak flooring and wood accents add natural warmth, while black elements in the kitchen and bedroom fireplace ground the soaring blue with earthy contrast.

The workspace tells its own story. Positioned facing floor-to-ceiling windows, the desk captures views of Lviv's historic center—the busy streets below provide daily doses of energy and inspiration during long work sessions. Thanks to the building's protruding balconies, sunlight never reaches the monitor, so productivity stays uninterrupted. The kitchen may be compact, but it's designed with full ergonomic precision and unafraid of bold black cabinetry. Adjacent dining and living areas stay ready for evenings with friends and marathon board game sessions, supported by a large two-sided storage unit that cleverly divides the entry corridor from the main space. That corridor became our showpiece—deep blue wrapping the perimeter with linear light cascading down the walls like a runway. Who said hallways have to be boring? We certainly didn't.

In the bedroom, we continued the interplay of light and blue while layering natural textiles—linen curtains, wool rugs, silk bedding—to soften the edges. And though our client isn't typically drawn to greenery, we added one living tree as a gift, bringing a piece of nature's vitality into the urban rhythm of Lviv.
